General Atomics Gets $35M US Navy Ground Control Station Contract

This order procures Air Vehicle and Ground Control Station spares in support of the successful operational capability of the Marine Air Ground Task Force Unmanned Aircraft System Expeditionary Medium Altitude Long Endurance MQ-9 Reaper air vehicles.

Work will be performed in Poway, California, and is expected to be completed in May 2028. Fiscal 2025 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $33,987,774; and fiscal 2023 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $883,016, will be obligated at the time of award, $883,016 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

This order was not competed. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
