Cloneable Emerges from Stealth, Launching AI-driven Platform
Cloneable, a no-code platform designed for building and deploying intelligent applications on edge devices including tablets, IoT devices, robots, and drones, emerged today out of stealth. The founding team, drawing on a decade of expertise as leaders in the commercial drone industry, aims to transform every device in the field into an intelligent extension of a company’s experts.
Cloneable secured $750,000 in pre-seed funding from First In and is working with Fortune 500 partners on applications ranging from infrastructure inspection to crop modeling.
Patrick Lohman, Cloneable CEO, highlighted the opportunity to bring intelligence to devices in the field stating,
"Machines generally lack context in data collection. Cloneable changes that. By making it easy to unite deep tech with a company’s specific logic, field devices can make contextual decisions without the delays and congestion of data transfers and post-processing.”
Cloneable empowers businesses to uplevel their drones, robots, IoT, and other edge devices with applications that leverage artificial intelligence/machine learning, computer vision, and other advanced technologies. Cloneable allows each device to instantly run these customized applications to process data and make real-time decisions.
The platform's modular and open architecture facilitates easy customization through a library of over 40 pre-built components, covering tasks such as computer vision, natural language processing, and augmented reality. Businesses can also craft bespoke components leveraging their IP to align with unique requirements or models. Once an application is built, it can be deployed on any edge device, instantly.
“Our platform removes the complexity and costliness of app development like integrating AI, stitching together systems and configuring business rules. In turn, business owners can focus their resources on innovation and not integration,”
said Tyler Collins, Cloneable CTO.
Gartner reports that by 2025, 75% of enterprise-generated data will be created and processed at the edge. This represents a significant shift from the current state of affairs, where most enterprise data is processed in centralized data centers.
“Cloneable stands as the bridge between rapidly advancing deep tech development and enterprise systems,” said Collins. “In the same way that Robotic Process Automation (RPA) revolutionized business processes in the office, Cloneable is revolutionizing business processes in the physical world.”
